Ward Team

Queens Park Ward covers from Queens Park Avenue to Cemetery Junction from Charminster Road to the Wessex Way. A lot of the ward is really in Charminster!

With a good record of listening to people, taking action, and not taking support for granted it's no wonder people trust the local Lib Dem team to deliver.

I have lived and worked in and around Bournemouth for over 36 years and have developed many friends and colleagues within business and the community. A keen sportsman and businessman I am enjoying the new challenges of politics and developing our future.

I am enjoying being involved in the running of the Bourne Spring Trust in Springbourne. Using business acumen and a passion for the community, many fantastic groups work in the trust, Vita Nova, the Butterfly Foundation and Sound Solution to name a few. There are many challenges ahead but all exciting and rewarding.

A memorial to those who died in Bournemouth during the bombing raid on May 23, 1943 will be unveiled at about 12.30 on May 23 2013 at the Lansdown, Bournemouth. Put the word out!

At around 1300, the RAF Memorial Flight will fly over the memorial, at the same time as the raid took place 70 years ago.

70 years ago,131 people, mostly civilians, were killed in a raid by 22 German bombers on the Metropole Hotel in Bournemouth. 50 or so of the servicemen killed were Canadian soldiers, and many of their families will attend, as will the Royal British Legion.
