General Election 2010
When its called, MPs will be elected to 'new' constituencies with new boundaries.
If your dustbin ('big bin' and 'little bin') is collected by Bournemouth Council, you will be in either Bournemouth East or Bournemouth West constituency. In addition, the Poole Council wards of Branksome East and Alderney (blue recycling bins) are part of the Bournemouth West constituency. The boundaries are shown on the map below.
The Liberal Democrats have selected two local campaigners who would make very good hard working MPs for the two constituencies:
Alasdair Murray for Bournemouth West, and Lisa Northover for Bournemouth East. Visit their websites to find out more about them.

Graham Watson, Liberal Democrat Member of the European Parliament for South West of England, has taken genuine Cornish pasties to his colleagues in the European Parliament in Brussels. It is a great show of support for the Cornish Pasty Association (CPA) which is currently waiting for the European Commission to grant final approval for the PGI status for the Cornish delicacy.
