The Seafront Leisure scheme will now cost more and start late, following Planning Board's deferral of a decision.

'Local people I've spoken to are disappointed about further delays,' says Councillor Ben Prescott. 'People are clear: its time we stopped talking and did something!

'The plan was to start this October, working around the holiday season. With no decision on July 28th, we're looking at a full year's delay, to October

2006: this will cost about £500,000 more'

The scheme will be back in front of planners September 19th, 5pm, Chine Hotel, Boscombe Spa Road.
